PBChat Blog Interviewer/Writer Application (seeking 1-2 people)

*This is a volunteer position and no financial compensation will be offered. While not guaranteed, volunteers may be invited to attend free industry workshops alongside mentees during the mentees' PBChat mentorship period. This position is NOT an opportunity to seek referrals or educational or business-related guidance from PBChat interviewees.

DEADLINE TO APPPLY: March 14th, 2022, 11:59pm ET.

*You may apply for up to two positions total. However, no candidate, if selected, will be able to hold more than one volunteer position.

POSITION OVERVIEW: The PBChat Chat & Giveaway Organizer will

VOLUNTEER DATES: May 2022 - May 2023. Selected candidate may reapply for same position the following year.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

1) Find and field potential interviewees for the PBChat blog.

2) Creating interview questions, interviewing blog guests via email, following up with interviewees.

3) Formatting interviews via Google Docs or MS Word and sharing the documents with Justin for posting on the PBChat blog.

2) Generating questions for PBChat's bi-weekly chat using a combination of questions generated by you and the PBChat community and running them by Justin and PBChat guests before events. More information to be provided to the selected candidate.

3) Helping create PBChat graphics for PBChat chats, giveaways, promotions, and other opportunities and events using PBChat's Canva Pro account.

4) Facilitating cover reveals and blog giveaways (with other PBChat volunteers) when appropriate.

5) Meeting with Justin and other PBChat volunteers on a monthly basis via Zoom to check in, share updates, brain storm, and create plans of action.
