We are the House of Chimeras, a multiple system made up of nonhumans who have been members of the community for over 15 years; the Sol System, a draconic nonhuman multiple system who has been part of the community for just under 10 years and published the tabletop roleplay game A Wolf in Man's Clothing; and Orion Scribner, author of the comic Theri There and the community history book Otherkin Timeline. We are inviting you to take part in our Otherhearted Community Survey for research purposes. Participation in this survey is completely voluntary. If you start the survey and change your mind, you are free to stop at any time and your answers will not be recorded.

The goal of this survey is to collect data regarding otherhearted individuals' experiences and understandings. This survey aims to gather information directly from otherhearted participants for use at a later date in an article detailing common otherhearted experiences and in other future research projects. Questions will be asked about your hearttypes, how you define otherhearted as a term, and about feelings such as dysphoria. This survey will take about 10 minutes depending on how much or little you type in write-in questions.

All submissions are anonymous. Things such as real names, birth dates, addresses, and similar are not required. The data that Google Forms gathers from this survey and includes in an automatically generated spreadsheet will not include your email address or your IP address. There will be no information required in this survey that will enable someone to identify, locate, or contact you. Data collected from this survey will be shared online, but any identifying information from write-in responses will be anonymized or removed before publication.

If you decide that you would like to withdraw your submission, please email us as: AlterhumanBook@gmail.com. You will need to inform us of something unique in your entry for us to locate and delete your submission. In the process of doing so, please be aware that we will then also be able to associate your survey answers with your email address and you. We will not disclose these details to anyone else.
