Tech Development Application
Hi there! This is an application to be considered for a potential collaboration between yourself and Coding in Color. Coding in Color is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to support underrepresented students in computing with a focus on students in Arizona. This upcoming year, students are learning how to build websites, mobile applications, embedded projects and we are looking to provide them with potential internships. 

Websites, apps and other tech development can be expensive to develop if you want to hire professionals where consultants and free-lancers charge upwards of $2,500 for a basic Wordpress Site with a few pages, SEO optimization and charge upward of $100/hour for minor site updates. This application is meant for small business owners or aspiring business owners who have an app idea but do not have the budget to pay established developers. In addition, your application will be offered to students as an internship to provide them with real-world experience.

At Coding in Color, we will provide both client (yourself) and developer (our students) consultation services to ensure all parties involved come to a mutual agreement on expectations and standards for your project. We will collaborate to develop project features, timeline and continuous progress checks to ensure your idea is coming to fruition as expected.

Just a reminder, there are limitations to the project above according to your budget. If you want 3+ features, it may not be possible on a $300-500 budget but may be possible for a $1500+ budget depending on the complexity. If your application is chosen but the budget or application idea needs adjustment, we will let you know how to simplify your idea into the appropriate budget.
