This non-residential Mindfulness Meditation Retreat includes Guided Meditation, Silent Meditation, Walking Meditation, Sermons and Chanting on Four Foundations of Mindfulness. This session is a great benefit to practice all the Meditations included in Four Foundation of Mindfulness Sutta. In addition, you will have an opportunity to learn and practice other meditations such as Loving Kindness, compassionate and Buddhānussati Meditations. Small booklets will be given for all the meditations. Then, you can practice them on your own. In this retreat, you will learn the ways to develop your mindfulness and stay focused even in the difficult moments of life. The various age groups are welcome for this event including high school and university students. Also, this Retreat will be helpful to reduce and eradicate the stress, depression, and anxiety. Please get ready to observe and practice Eight Precepts through out the session.
Mindfulness Meditation Retreat will be conducted by a monk trained in the Theravada Buddhist tradition. You will have more time to interact with the monk and ask the questions. Lunch, Tea and Coffee will be provided for all the participants. If you have any dietary requirement, please fell free to bring your own lunch.
Need to participate for few days
We encourage you to participate at least five days in order to get the real benefit of the Retreat. However, if you need to participate for few days not the full session, you can do that. In that case, please mention which days you are participating in the registration form. This will help us to organize the event well.
