"Cultivating Educator Resilience: Play and Create" workshop on
Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from
4:30-6:00 PM EST in Crowe Hall 107. This session will be on campus, and there will be
NO Zoom option. Other workshops in this series (#4, #5, #6, & #7) will be fully on Zoom. This workshop will be facilitated by Stephanie Letourneau. This workshop is part eight of a nine-part series.
Workshop Description: Creativity and play unlock inner resources for dealing with stress, solving problems, and enjoying life. When we are creative, we are resourceful, and we problem-solve in new and original ways, which fuels our courage. Our thinking expands, and our connection with ourselves and others deepens.
Presenter Biography: Stephanie Letourneau is a certified mindfulness instructor and public school teacher with over 20 years of experience. In addition, she is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) and is currently enrolled in the Brain Longevity Teacher Training through Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation. Stephanie also works as an adjunct professor for Merrimack College.
Certificates of participation (1.5 hours) will be provided to you following the workshop. This event is free and open to Merrimack College students, alumni, and the external community. Light refreshments will be served. Space is limited, so please RSVP as soon as possible with your information below!
