The MWES PTA is looking for parents to run for our executive board positions. Our PTA is made up of hard-working parents and teachers who pool their talents to provide practical support for our school. If you are interested in running for an executive position for the 2024-2025 position,
please complete this form by Friday, April 12th. Elections will be held on Wednesday, May 8th prior to the Chorus Concert. All new officers will be onboarded and trained by outgoing officers.
Positions available include:
- President: represents PTA by presiding at all meetings, coordinating officers and committees, overseeing budgetary needs with assistance of VPs
- Vice President I (Finance): works with President, Treasurer and committees to coordinate fundraising and budgetary initiatives
- Vice President II (Committees): coordinates and liaises with Program & Committee leaders
- Secretary: prepares for approval, and keeps record of, PTA meeting minutes; manages distribution of PTA newsletter and PTA Facebook page
- Treasurer: prepares and manages PTA budget, expenditures, and reimbursements and necessary tax/PTA filings
- Webmaster: manages and updates the PTA website, assists committees with event registrations
