DiJo - Experts
 
We are three journalists (Sely, Ana, and Jasmine) who are looking to amplify POC voices in U.S. news. You might have heard people of color are underrepresented among newsroom staff. The same is true for the experts reporters quote in stories and interview on air. News organizations that have been keeping track of the race and ethnicity of their sources have found that most of them are white.
 
Your expertise could be helping the public discourse be more inclusive and equitable. Please add your name to our online database of POC experts, which we are planning to share with newsrooms across the country. We hope this resource will help diversify journalists’ rolodexes, and result in a richer public discourse.
