When school districts are unable to fill all of their CPP or ECARE allotment, the surplus positions may be temporarily reallocated to other districts for one (1) school year. The following school year, any temporary positions "borrowed" return to the original district’s base allocation.

If your school district is in need of temporary funding to serve a child already enrolled and who qualifies for CPP/ECARE, please complete this form. If funding becomes available, CDE will notify school districts.
