Information about your steps on arrival
1. It is NOT necessary to register yourself as soon as your arrive. Please go directly to your accommodation
2. All refugees must register with their contact details at ukraine.regierung-oberbayern@reg-ob.bayern.de with the Government of Upper Bavaria within the first 90 days of arrival in Munich. It is important to provide name, date of birth, address of current accommodation, e-mail address and telephone number. The Government of Upper Bavaria will then contact the persons in a timely manner to subsequently arrange an appointment for registration (https://stadt.muenchen.de/infos/ukraine.html)
3. There have been reports of police escorting BIPOC refugees from the trains to the police station for registration. Please know that this is not necessary and you do not have to go with them. Please state that you need to get to your accommodation and you will register yourself.
4. There has been confusion around the status of BIPOC refugees and there have been reports of police registering them as asylum seekers at the police station. Please know that you do NOT have to register as an aslyum seeker.It's important to register as a WAR REFUGEE.

Thank you for sharing your name, email address, phone number, location data (Your Data) with the Noir Society and Arbeitskreis Panafrikanismus München e.V to obtain support for your arrival and stay in Munich.

Participation
Your participation in this data-collection effort is completely voluntary. You may choose to withdraw consent at any time without penalty.

Data Retention
We may retain your personal information in Your Data as long as it is necessary for the Purpose. Any personal information in Your Data that could identify you such as your name, email, phone number or location data may be shared internally for the Purpose.

Data Storage and Protection
We respect your privacy and use a variety of measures to protect your personal identifying information from unauthorized access and disclosure.

Sharing with Third Parties
The Noir Society and Arbeitskreis Panafrikanismus München  may want to share Your Data (including Your Data that personally identifies you) with certain third parties who have a need to access Your Data in furtherance of the Purpose.

Questions/Requests for Deletion
If you have questions or wish to have your personal data contained in Your Data deleted, please email us at  africansinukrainemunich@gmail.com. Your Data that contains or is linked to your personal information will be deleted as soon as reasonably practicable.
