If your child does not already own their own instrument, you will need to rent an instrument from Music and Arts : or from another music vendor.  You can sign-up to rent your instrument online or go directly to the store to obtain it.  It is important that this process is completed by Wednesday, Sept. 11.  It is important to take the necessary steps in processing your material by this date or earlier because it could take a few weeks for your instrument to come in.  In addition, student must purchase the method book "Standard of Excellence" Book one for their specific instrument.  

 Lessons will be held one full period every week. It is the responsibility of the child to find out the work they missed in their academic class.  The lesson schedule will rotate so the student will not miss the same class each week.  Lessons are not optional.  If the student misses more than 3 lessons (school absences not included) he or she will be in jeopardy of dismissal from the program.  When a student skips a lesson he or she misses a whole week of work. It is their responsibility to find out the assignment and have the material learned to the best of their ability by the next lesson.

Morning band will be offered to beginning students in the January.  Rehearsals will be held in mornings at 7:30am in the band room once a week. The morning schedule will be added to the band schedule in January.
