2019 Life Sciences Fellowship

Secondary science educators are invited to join a two-month-long fellowship focused on life sciences content and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) implementation. This professional development series will be focused on creating systems and structures to provide effective, research-based instruction in life sciences for all students that is aligned to the NGSS. Cohorts will consist of up to two teachers each from up to 15 schools. This program will include an orientation on Friday, July 26, 2019, in-person training sessions, peer coaching, and lesson plan development and support through Friday, Sept. 20, 2019. Specific dates and times will be set according to what works best for cohort participants. Participants will receive a stipend of $400 upon completion of the fellowship requirements.  To apply for this fellowship, please complete this online application by no later than Friday, July 19th.
