Mount Maunganui Intermediate School is offering tuition for the 2022 school year on the following musical instruments:

Saxophone,    Flute,   Violin,  Trumpet,  Trombone,  Clarinet    

Tuition is dependent upon numbers of students and availability of tutors.  Tuition time is “out of school hours” by arrangement with the tutor and is generally after school on a weekday between 3pm and 5pm and will take place at Mt Maunganui Intermediate School.

We are keen to get the programme up and running as early as possible in Term 1.  Lessons will begin week 5 or 6 term 1 and run for 32 weeks of the school year.  The school has a limited number of instruments - flutes (2), trumpets (2), trombone (1), alto saxophones (2), tenor saxophone (1), clarinet (1) and violins (5), available to hire for the year. Hireage will be based on a first in first served basis.

In addition to the above programme, a private tutor comes into our school on a weekly basis.  The cost of their weekly lessons is approximately $20 - $25 / half hour.
