2024 Pride Acadiana Poster + Window Painting - Artist Sign Up
Windows and poster are both paid projects. Priority will be given to LGBTQ+ artists. 

For poster: 
Deadline to apply is April 3rd. Pride Acadiana 2024 theme will be decided by April 1st and Poster design will be due April 15th. 

For window painting: 
Businesses will be donating money to have their windows painted, and that money will go directly to the artist who paints a design on one of the shop windows - to cover supplies/time. Please feel free to email prideacadiana@gmail.com with any questions. 

Deadline to sign up is May 15th.
Artist will coordinate with the business owners to have the windows painted during the last week of May, and will be responsible for coming to an agreement about whether the artist will or will not remove the window art by the end of June.

According to The Trevor Project (2021), LGBTQ+ youth who had access to spaces that affirmed their sexual orientation and gender identity reported lower rates of attempting suicide. The Acadiana Queer Collective strive to provide safe and inclusive community spaces.
