What do you most want to get out of the SPARC Open Education Leadership Program if selected? *
Tell us what motivates you to work on open education and what you are hoping to gain from the program. Also consider addressing how you would put that to work to have a larger impact on open education on your campus and beyond.
What would you most hope to contribute to the 2022-23 leadership cohort if selected? *
Participants consistently tell us that being part of the cohort is one of the most important parts of their experience in the program. Tell us a little about the perspectives, skills, or experiences you would bring to a cohort and how you might seek to contribute to the growth of your peers.

Part of the program is implementing a capstone project that advances open education. Capstones can be local, state/province-wide, or national in focus, and can address any aspect of open education. Tuition & Institutional Support Questionnaire
Tuition rates are set to ensure that SPARC can offer this program sustainably. Tuition covers both semesters of the program, and rates below represent a 20% discount off of pre-pandemic rates. Institutions are expected to cover the cost of tuition on behalf of applicants.

SPARC Member Institutions: $1,995 USD / $2,495 CAD

Tuition discounts are available by separate application, which may be requested below. Those eligible are encouraged to apply.
Would you like to apply for a tuition discount? *
If you select "Yes" you will be sent an additional form to complete. It is your responsibility to complete the additional form by the application deadline in order to be considered for a discount.
Have you discussed the possibility of applying for the program with your supervisor?
The program is intensive and requires a significant time commitment alongside a full time job. While you are not required to have the support of your supervisor to submit an application, you will be required to confirm their support prior to enrolling if selected. Please let us know if you have already discussed the program with your supervisor, or provide a brief note about when you would plan to do that.
