Introduction
We're not aware of any data that captures either the extent of use of 3D printers and 3D CAD in D&T or the purposes of that 3D CAD/CAM use.
This survey is an attempt to fill that data gap.

If you're able to help with the survey, please do complete as much of it as you can - we've tried to keep it short and easy.

If you are able to make no use at all of 3D CAD or 3D printing in your school, we would really value a null response from you - this will be very fast, just click through indicating that you do none of the things asked about. It's important that we get as representative a response as possible.

Our own interests lie in teacher training, CPD and curriculum development in D&T and we expect the results to inform these activities both for us and much more widely. We imagine that anyone working with and in schools to develop the use of 3D printers and 3D CAD will do a better job if they understand the landscape better.

We will publish the results of the survey, ensuring that all contributors remain anonymous, at https://dandtfordandt.wordpress.com.

We do ask for your email address; this is mostly to validate responses and also to allow us the chance to follow up survey responses. These addresses will not be publicised, distributed to third parties or used for any other purpose by us.

We will be closing the survey on March 31st, so please respond before then.
