Camping in the Grove 2021 Counselor Application
Camping in the Grove is looking to hire junior counselors and senior counselors to help lead our spirited overnight children's camp for 2021. This summer, we will be running two camp programs: Camping in the Grove (open to rising 4th-7th graders) and Senior Camping in the Grove (open to rising 8th-10th graders). For Camping in the Grove, we are looking to hire counselors who are high-school-aged and older. For Senior Camping in the Grove, we are looking to hire counselors who are college aged and older. You may apply to work at one or both of the camps.


You must be available to work and sleep over at Murray Grove Retreat and Renewal Center the following dates:

For Camping in the Grove:
Pre-camp training on July 31st, Camp from August 1st through 6th, 2021

For Senior Camping in the Grove:
Pre-camp training on August 7th, Camp from August 8th through 14th, 2021


If you are interested in applying to be a counselor, even if you have been a counselor for our camp previously, please fill out the following application as thoroughly as possible.  The deadline for completing this counselor application HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO May 1st, 2021.  After this date we will begin the selection process. We will notify you of our hiring decision by May 15th, 2021.
 
Please note: a background check, for those ages 18 and above, is required by law for all hired staff of children's camps; this will be done with Murray Grove bearing the cost.
