Amanda completed her RYT-200 yoga teacher training under Ame Wren at the Boston Yoga School. Amanda has taught a variety of styles from power flow to yin to children's yoga in a range of settings, including studios, higher education dormitories, hospitals, and corporate offices. Her classes have a strong focus on anatomy and proper form as a way to prevent and/or heal from physical injury. Through the years, she has leaned on her own yoga practice to find and continually restore balance. Amanda is also a Reiki Master and a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. She believes that yoga is a great complement to an active lifestyle, and a necessary antidote to a busy life.
Amanda is an award-winning artist and published poet, as well as a runner, rock climber, and mom of two. She is a recent transplant to Texas and lives in Bastrop with her husband, two littles, their rescue dog, Chief, and a growing flock of chickens.
