Come learn the basics and get prepared for our 2023 tryouts!

No prior experience is necessary to participate in camp and tryouts. The majority of players entering high school have not played field hockey before. The purpose of the summer camp is to teach the sport to athletes interested in trying out for the fall program. We have an excellent coach to athlete ratio to make it the best possible atmosphere for learning. **Camp will be held weekdays from 1pm-4pm beginning July 24th through Aug 4th on the Edison High School turf field located at the back of the school**

ONLINE REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT.  
Go to https://edisonfieldhockey.com/donate to submit $200, pay using Zelle with our email address (edisonfieldhockey@gmail.com), mail check to P.O. Box 6627, Huntington Beach, CA 92615, or bring a check to the first day of camp made out to EHS Field Hockey Booster Club.

After registering and submitting payment, players must bring the following documents to their first day of camp:

District Athletic physical form signed and completed by a physician
Summer Emergency Card
$150 deposit check if renting stick

**Sticks may be rented from Coach Becca to be taken home by players for a deposit check of $150 made out to “Edison Field Hockey Boosters".  This check will NOT be cashed unless equipment is not returned.

Mandatory equipment (must bring everyday to camp):

Shin guards (soccer ones are fine)
Mouth guard (can be purchased at any sporting good store)
Appropriate athletic shoes for the turf (soccer cleats, running shoes, turf shoes)
Your own water


Sticks and balls will be provided by the program.

Summer Camp fee can be paid online via PayPal, using Zelle with our email address (edisonfieldhockey@gmail.com) or check made out to Edison Field Hockey Boosters.  PayPal payment link can be found at https://edisonfieldhockey.com/donate .  Camp t-shirts will be included in the camp fee.  If you would like to check out a field hockey stick for camp, please bring a check made out to Edison Field Hockey Boosters for $150 on the first day of camp.  This check will NOT be cashed unless equipment is not returned to Coach Becca after the summer.
