April 19: 4:30 - 6:30 PM - Earth Day Buzz; Drop off at the back parking lot of Saint Francis De Assisi Church to access McMillan Mesa trail, Pick up at Buffalo park at the ramada near the Buffalo entrance. We will hike acrtoss the mesa and the bridge over Cedar, and make pollinator houses with power tools at Buffalo park to celebrate Earth Day

May 17: 4:30 - 8 PM - Family Night Hike, Back Country Edition. Drop off at the candy Forest trailHead in Mountainaire at 4:30, come back for kid guided hike to backcountry dinner spot at 6:00. Potluck dinner hosted by kids for families and guests then return hike to trailhead with glow sticks and flashlights.

June 21 5 PM - 8 PM - Family Night Hike, Sunset Plateau. Drop off at camp drop off spot in Mountainaire. Return at 6 :30 PM for kid histed potluck and guided hike with aadventurers. Enjoy Potluck dinner at camp and star gazing, return to pick up spot guided by kids at 8 PM.

If you need a scholarship, please tell us below. We will do our best to be sure money is not a barrier. Please let us know what you could contribute towards the cost of the program when you request a scholarship..

I give permission for my child or children to attend the Forest Friday activity. I will drop off and pick up my child at the designated time and place and sign them in/out with staff. Exact locations will be sent to me with directions in my confirmation email.

All staff and volunteers have permission to seek emergency medical help for my child, and provide simple first aid or hygiene assistance.

I understand that my child/children should attend in appropriate clothing for the outdoor weather and be ready to hike 2-4 miles and play outdoors for three hours.

If my child does not adhere to safety guidelines and listen to staff and volunteers, I may be phoned to pick them up early. I will not be refunded the registration fee due to my child's behavior or changes in my plans which preclude attendance.

Event will be held rain /snow/or shine.

My child will get dirty and wet. They will be exposed to the normal hazards of the outdoors including weather. plants, domestic and wild animals / bugs, mud, dirt etc as well as craft supplies and materials.

Snacks and gear will be provided.

Photos will be taken and used on the MFA website /advertisements/ social media.

A copy of your responses will be emailed to the address you provided.
