The Independent Music Teachers Forum of the North Carolina Music Teachers Association 2023 Scholarship Application
Did you know that NCMTA offers a $500 scholarship for Advanced Study through the Independent Music Teachers Forum? The scholarship can be used for any type of advanced study. The award will be presented at the NCMTA Conference Banquet in the fall of 2023. The recipient is given one year from the receipt of the award to complete his/her project.

The application process is simple and direct, using this form. We would like to encourage you to apply for the 2023 IMTF Scholarship! The application deadline is September 15, 2023.

Do you have an area of music study or project that you have been dreaming of pursuing? Past recipients have used the scholarship money for:
  • Private lessons
  • The study of piano music written by women
  • The study of the reciprocal relationship that piano and hand-bell study have with each other
