CareerLabsVR Booking
Prairie Lakes Area Education Agency is offering a mobile Career Exploration Virtual Reality (VR) opportunity for 8th-12th graders. This booking form is for those requesting to have sent to their school the three VR headsets preloaded with 26 career modules and a VR trained PLAEA consultant to facilitate student use.  

Career Exploration VR combines career exploration with VR, providing students the opportunity to experience hands-on careers using fully interactive VR from the comfort and safety of the classroom. Instead of viewing a computer screen, users are immersed and able to interact in a 3D environment. The student will perform various tasks related to the career field they choose to explore. Each career exploration runs 20-25 minutes in length.

Career Exploration VR can be set up to run three students simultaneously. Roughly 35 students in a full school day can have a single career exploration VR experience. Or three students every period, your choice.  

Through their own eyes and hands, students will be on the virtual job site performing various tasks with the most commonly used tools of their selected trade!

How many students will be participating? Roughly thirty-five students can be partake in CareerLabsVR in one day. PLAEA is licensed to run only three VR stations at once, so it's suggested to send three students at a time.  It takes roughly 30 minutes for a student to complete a single career VR experience with 20-25 minutes of that time spent in VR.  *
