Please bear with us if this process has hiccups or applications take us some time for us to get through, this is a work in progress and will likely evolve. We're a volunteer run and funded organization and we ask members to help steward our space! This can take the form of hosting classes, workshop hours, maintaining machines, or organizing projects. What do you like to work on? What would you be interested helping with?

Membership dues and classes cover the shared expense (~$5000/mo) of building & keeping a space open in one of the most expensive cities in the US. We do not have any paid employees. The more everyone helps out, the stronger our community will be.

We have a list of some things we need help with here. Your own ideas are very welcome too!
Member Expectations
Sequoia Fabrica expects all Members to:
  1. Help maintain our shared space.
  2. Pay dues of $100-150/month*

* Alternative arrangements may be approved at the discretion of the Board.

Release of Liability
In return for being permitted to use Sequoia Fabrica's workshop (“The Workshop”), including any associated use of the premises, facilities, volunteers, equipment, and services of Sequoia Fabrica, I, for myself, heirs, personal representatives, and assigns, do hereby release, waive, discharge, and promise not to sue Sequoia Fabrica, its directors, officers, staff, and volunteers (“Sequoia Fabrica”), from liability from any and all claims, including the negligence of Sequoia Fabrica, resulting in personal injury (including death), accidents or illnesses, and property loss, in connection with my participation or that of the child I am accompanying in the Workshop and any use of Sequoia Fabrica's premises and facilities.
