What: A bridge program designed to transition new Kindergarten students to the academic and social expectations in Kindergarten.
Where: McKinley Elementary
When: Monday-Thursday - July 28- August 8, 2024

Time: 9:00 A.M- 12:00 P.M.
Why: This is important to help set students up for success in their first full academic school year in Kindergarten. This will help them get familiar with the school, classmates, teachers, and routines prior to the first day of school.
Daily Schedule: Activities will be planned based on suggestions from our Preschool teachers.
9:00- Pick up students on the playground by the North doors.
9:05- Walk to the classrooms, complete a review activity
9:20- Story time
9:35- Language Arts/ Phonics centers
10:15 - Craft
10:30- Gross Motor
10:45- Bathroom Break
10:55- Math Centers
11:35- Songs
11:45- Journal about their day
12:00- Pick up on the playground by the North doors.
