Welcome to Sports at St Bernard's. Registrations for Summer and Winter Sports are open. In order to play sport, this form will need to be completed by 31st January so the Sports Office can send through any relevant information. We appreciate your prompt response as some codes start week 2 of term 1 and trials are being organised.
Sport is an integral part of the Marist Charism and St Bernard's College offers a wide range of sports to give students opportunities to participate in and enjoy. Sport helps develop competitiveness, sports ability, increased self-esteem, teamwork and leadership.
Due to the nature of the administration of many sporting codes at year 7 & 8 being managed by Sports clubs, the range of sports available at St Bernard's College is restricted. There are some one off or tournament based Inter-school competitions that St Bernard's College competes in and there is a separate process for selection for the National Year 7 & 8 AIMS Games tournament.
