PURPOSE STATEMENT
Wish STL and Wish KC are a group of young professionals dedicated to furthering the mission of Make-A-Wish. The boards goals are to increase awareness for the mission of Make-A-Wish, help to build future leadership and to generate financial support to grant local wishes.

IDEAL CANDIDATES
The ideal candidate is an up-and-coming professional between the ages of 24-39 with high-potential and a demonstrated ability to lead in their organization. They are passionate about being active and philanthropic members of their community and are committed to utilizing their skills to further the mission and vision of Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas. In return, candidates will receive the opportunity to further build their leadership capabilities as well as the opportunity to network with other business leaders from the St. Louis and Kansas City communities.

MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Commit to attending 80% of meetings, held bi-monthly, during the two-year term (Term: January – December, maximum 3 terms)
• Adhere to $1,000 Give/Get annually through securing sponsorships and donations for Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas
• Includes table sales, sponsorship commitments, donations to events, silent auction packages, etc.
• Pay $50 membership dues annually (Included in Give/Get total)
• Wish STL/Wish KC is responsible for planning and executing two fundraising events each year, with a goal of raising $50,000 annually as a group. Attendance is required at both events.
• All Wish STL/Wish KC members are tasked with outreach, community awareness and fundraising. This includes local cultivation of relationships, identifying community funding and outreach opportunities and membership recruitment.
• Serve on a minimum of one Wish STL/Wish KC committee
• Complete mission overview webinar and shadow one wish/year
