Youth Advisory Council

Members meet the third Sunday of each month to discuss how to make Escambia and Santa Rosa County an awesome place for teens, free from the harms of addiction. 

Purpose

1. Works with Hope Above Fear (HAF) to identify teen problems, suggest solutions and help promote programs. 

2. Updates HAF on what is happening on school campuses. 

3. Plan and implement programs and special events throughout the year. 

4. Practice leadership skills.

5. Advocate for youth-related needs in the community.

Advisory Committee Requirements

1. Be in 7th – 12th grade

2. Members will attend a monthly meeting held on the 3rd Sunday. Time and location may change based on the need of the group.

3. Members shall attend a school within the boundaries of Escambia or Santa Rosa County. 

4. Members are expected to actively participate in discussions and events.
