Writing Center Space Borrowing Application

In order to promote the cross-field teaching and learning innovation of teachers and students in the whole campus, integrate on-campus teaching, research, intracurricular and extracurricular learning resources for cross-field communication, cooperation, and promotion, the Bilingual Education Center and Language Center provide writing center space (hereinafter referred to as this space) .

This space is located on the first floor of the General Education Building (O-121). It is a compound space and can accommodate about 30-40 people.

Steps of borrowing:
  1. The application should be submitted online no later than 1 week in advance.
  2. The borrowing period is from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on working days. Please inquire separately on holidays.
  3. Successful application will be contacted by Email or telephone. Please confirm that the information is correct.
  4. This space needs to be arranged and managed manually in advance. Please be sure to start and end activities on time according to the borrowing time.
Borrowing priority order  

  1. Bilingual Education Center and Language Center-related courses and activities, including English self-study activities, consulting activities, EMI workshops, writing-related workshops, etc.
  2. Activities related to the promotion of teaching and learning innovation by various departments, institutes and administrative units of the university.
  3. Other activities.

Precautions for use  

  1. Do not engage in activities that violate government laws and regulations, interfere with normal public affairs, or affect school safety.
  2. Activities inconsistent with the content of the application shall not be carried out.
  3. The building and equipment of this space shall not be lost and damaged.
  4. Smoking, cooking and sleeping overnight are prohibited.
  5. It is forbidden to eat and drink inside. If you have special needs, you must apply for approval in advance.
  6. The consumables used in the equipment, such as courses or workshops that are not sponsored or co-organized by the management unit, must be prepared by the applicant.
  7. After the space has been used, check that all equipment is turned off, put in place, cleaned and restored to its original place.

8. Matters not mentioned above shall be handled in accordance with the relevant regulations of the school.
