We are thrilled to announce that there will be no entry fees for this year's celebration, as a gesture of our gratitude.
Juneteenth holds immense cultural and historical significance, marking the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and celebrating the resilience, achievements, and contributions of the Black community. As we honor this momentous occasion, your participation as a participant will further enrich the overall experience for attendees and help foster a sense of unity and community.
The First Annual Juneteenth Pageant will be held at the new Lamesa High School Gym at 9am Saturday, June 17th, 2023 In addition, We would love for all participants to be a part of the parade at Hollis Carver park 8:30am. This year we will only have one outfit. Participants are asked to wear anything that shows their personality!! The only requirement is to incorporate Juneteenth colors(Red, Black, Green, Yellow) in your outfit to qualify for a win.
