We recognise it's long, and we'd recommend preparing your answers in advance before entering them into the form so you don't lose any work! We'd also recommend completing the form on a computer rather than on your mobile. As a rough guide to each section: section 1 is to check you're eligible; section 2 is some personal details; section 3 is education & employment history; section 4 is your pitch to us; section 5 is about your mentor preferences; section 6 is some information about your background; section 7 is to help us monitor diversity; and section 8 is some data protection and other legal bits and bobs.

The deadline for submitting your application form, and for your referee to submit their reference form, is 23:59 BST on Thursday 30 September.
