TYCA Grad Students Guidelines Awareness Survey

Greetings from the TYCA Task Force on Preparing Graduate Students in English for Open-Access Teaching. Our TF has been charged to “Create updated or new guidelines for preparing graduate students to teach at community colleges and other open-admissions institutions” (Charge from TYCA Chair Charissa Che).

As we undertake this work, we are interested in learning more about how the 2016 Guidelines have been used within the discipline and for scholarly, pedagogical, or administrative purposes. We invite you to complete this questionnaire.

Here is a link to the version available on the TYCA website. We also include the published version which appeared in the September 2017 issue of Teaching English in the Two-Year College and the July issue of College English

We welcome your feedback on the group's upcoming work. If you have questions or comments, please contact the task force co-chairs at hjhassel@mtu.edu and bruce.j.martin@lonestar.edu.

Co Chairs Holly Hassel (Michigan Tech University) and Bruce Martin (Lone Star College), on behalf of the task force members.
