The Game-Changers Finance Symposium (GCFS) is dedicated to fostering the growth and networking of underrepresented minorities within the finance academia. We extend a warm invitation to finance academics and doctoral students who champion the cause of underrepresented finance scholars to join us at the symposium. The program features 4 paper presentations, including a keynote address from Dr. Justin Birru from The Ohio State University. Following each presentation, engaging discussions will ensue, allowing for constructive feedback from the audience. To ensure a conducive environment for networking and collaboration, the symposium will maintain a small group of participants, facilitating meaningful interactions and valuable networking opportunities in this intimate setting.

Invited speakers and attendees, please indicate whether you need a parking sticker to waive parking fees. With a parking sticker, you can park at the Administration Garage (1 Circle Rd, Shelter Island Heights, NY 11794) free of charge. General attendees can park at the Garage or Stony Brook University METERED LOTS for a fee of $2.50/hour payable at the lot with a debit or credit card only (no cash is accepted). An alternative is to use Long Island Railroad (LIRR) that has a stop on Stony Brook campus, which is 10-min walk to the conference location.
