Dance Express is proud to add the new special needs program "Darby's Dancers" to its schedule. Darby's Dancers is a non profit (501c3). The Dance Express Darby's Dancer program is designed to provide dance education to children with special needs at no cost to their families and offer a foundation for inclusion with other dancers within an established dance organization.
We provide classes, dance attire, shoes and costumes at no cost to the families. Each child is paired with a teen volunteer that acts as their personal coach.
Please complete this form if you are interested in becoming a "Darby's Dancer Coach". Each coach is partnered with a Darby's Dancer participant to create a 1 on 1 learning environment. The closeness and special bond you may develop with your dancer is priceless. Weekly classes are scheduled to meet Saturdays 9:00-10 am. We will have 2-3 sessions of Darby's Dancers this season, as we prepare for our dancers to enter the "Special Olympics".
