OMFLL is planning a fall season for OLA clubs starting in early September for games to take place on Saturdays  (target start date of Saturday September 4th).  This OMFLL fall season will replace the typical spring field season that many of us are used to on a go forward basis.  There will no longer be an OMFLL spring field season.

The season will run for 5 weeks for U9 (Tyke) with a provincials on the 5th week and for 6 weeks for older age groups with provincials on the 6th week.  All games will take place in Brampton.

The format will be full OMFLL field lacrosse rules:
U9 (Tyke) - 7 v 7 (6 runners plus goalie) on a smaller sized field with smaller sized nets
U11 (Novice) - 8 v 8 (7 runner plus goalie) on a smaller sized field with smaller sized nets
U13 and up - 10 v 10 full field, full sized nets

In order to run teams we will require a minimum roster of:
- 12 players (including a goalie) in U9
- 13 players (including goalie) in U11
- 15 players (including a goalie) in older age groups

This invite to participate is going first to all  players that have participated in our Hawks field/box hybrid return to play season.

The cost to participate will be approximately $190.  

We understand that September is a busy time and we wish we had more details to share.  At this time time we know that games will take place on Saturdays and all games will be held at Brampton Civic Fields.  Teams will play 2 games each Saturday. Extra practice maybe added for your team at a time determined by your coach which works best for your team.

Unfortunately if we do not get commitment from at least the minimum number of players required for your age group, we will be unable to run a team in that age group.  

Given the upcoming requirement for the Association to pay the league fees to enter teams, we request that you indicate your interest in playing on this form by no later than Saturday August 14th by 6pm.  

We know that many will want to answer "maybe" but please only indicate "yes" if you will be able to make a strong commitment to your team.  Even if your answer will be "no" it would be appreciated if you can fill out the form for our planning purposes so we know that we are not missing anyone.
