LOCAL BUSINESSES - Meet with local businesses, investigate diverse hiring practices, support local businesses. Specific action items to come.
POLICING in HT - Create a plan of action to get a conversation started with our police department about hiring practices, training of new and existing staff, communicate with police about the need for transparency about police budget and related funding, evaluate police budgets. Once we have more information, push for change where needed.
MUNICIPAL TOWNSHIP - Create a plan of action to get a conversation started with  our local government and police department about hiring practices, training of new and existing staff, transparency in communicating with residents and other stake holders. Actions items TBD to obtain information needed to move forward and create change.
SOCIAL JUSTICE GROUP - Connect with local justice groups to ensure we aren't reinventing the wheel and continue expanding our reach. Build alliances.

EVENTS - Create, organize, produce anti-racism webinars, trainings, town halls etc. for community members.
COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS - Creating spaces for both black and brown people, interact and increase representation of BIPOC in places where community decisions are made; support residents in building capacity in growing into Anti Racist friends and neighbors; Create listening opportunities/surveys to better understand the experience of our BIPOC residents so that we can act in step with their need.

HOUSING/REAL ESTATE - Investigate housing practices and policies, connect with local realtors to discuss current practices, connect with local banks/mortgage lenders to discuss current practices, evaluate redlining and sundown towns.
