OSD Middle School Summer School Registration
Summer School Information for current 6-8th grade students.

The Olympia School District has created additional summer learning opportunities for middle school students.  Students will be using the online Edgenuity curriculum to continue and/or further develop skills in math, English Language Arts, or Washington State History.

All courses utilize computer-based instruction and students will work remotely. A remote orientation is mandatory as well as Zoom meetings with teachers. Students should plan to work approximately three hours per day and 50 or more hours to complete each course.

Cost
Summer school courses will be free of charge for all students currently enrolled in grades 6 - 8 for any non-high school credit bearing course. Current 8th-grade students wishing to take a high school course for initial credit should register on the High School registration form.
The payment portal is now available to collect payments for summer school. You may access the portal by scrolling to the bottom of the OSD website Home page. The Payment Portal is listed under the heading of “Useful Links.”  Once there, you will sign in with your Skyward Family Access Username and Password.  Once inside the portal you will select "shop for items at all schools" and then "Website."  Please choose Middle School Credit at $0 if you are retaking a course for 6th, 7th or 8th grade. Please choose initial credit or credit retrieval if you are taking a new course for high school credit or retaking a course for high school credit. Please contact the Summer School principals if you need financial assistance.
