1) Graded Examinations: Graded Exams consist of 3 performance pieces, technical elements, and musicianship tests. 
2) Performance Certificates: Performance Certificates consist of 5 performance pieces and no other tests or exercises

Please note: Exam times vary and may be scheduled on a weekday during daytime hours. We do our best to accommodate your preference, although this is not always possible. Exam times run anywhere between 9:00 am - 8:00 pm. Please list any dates or times you are NOT available. 
*Should any further unavailable dates come up after registering, please contact jessikawhitfield@rslawards.com, and the dates will be added to your online account. Changing an exam date when it has been confirmed is very difficult. Under extenuating circumstances, we will try to alter the date, but this cannot be guaranteed. 
Any changes to an exam date after it has been scheduled will incur a $25 fee. Deferring an exam to the next period will incur a deferral fee of half the original exam fee.*

What are reasonable adjustments?
These are adjustments made to the standard procedure or process of an assessment, in order to offer candidates with any learning difficulty or additional physical needs the fairest chance to achieve their qualification. Reasonable Adjustment applications can only be made on the basis of procedure and process. All assessments will be marked based on their stated assessment criteria to which no amendments are permitted. 
Please inform us of any applicable reasonable adjustments and we will be in touch to provide you with the reasonable adjustments form.
