So many people have been hit hard by the pandemic with businesses closed or with restricted opening. Let’s help support them.
The aim of Market Street is to support local people and businesses, therefore priority will be given to those based in Hardwick, followed by those within the surrounding villages.
Anyone can apply – selling your items such candles and fragrances, handmade items, chocolates or gifts; local charities wanting to connect; beauticians & hairdressers; playgroups or other local groups; tradespeople looking to chat to potential customers. The more variety the better.
We cannot have numerous stalls of the same type, so we will have to restrict them and have a “back up” list. However, please feel free to apply for a combined stall with others – e.g. Several Hardwick child minders may wish to run a stall together.
Unfortunately we do not have the facilities to set up the stalls, therefore each stall holder will need to provide their own table, chairs, small gazebo etc. Please note that the maximum size of pitch will be 3m x 3m and we will allow for small gaps between stalls.
Vehicles will not be permitted on the grounds.
The Market Street will run from 12pm until 6pm, and the recreation ground will be available to set up stalls from 10am.
Stall holders can choose the length of time they would like to run. This allows those that want to run for the full six hours along with those that may need to set up later or finish early. Please indicate on the application form how long you wish to run your stall.
There is no charge for this, however, please let the organisers know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend, allowing others to be given the opportunity.
