Hi, my name is Jun Michael Park. I am a seasoned documentary photographer and filmmaker from Seoul, South Korea. I regularly contribute to the New York Times, Der Spiegel and Monocle magazine, among other international publications.

Three photographs from my project – shot in Cuba and Pakistan – were recently published in Time magazine's special issue on K-pop.
Through my project I want to tell the stories of fans from different background and find out what exactly makes Korean culture so appealing and meaningful to them. Currently, I am looking for fans of all ages and nationalities, in Korea and elsewhere, who are willing to be photographed, interviewed and/or filmed. My goal is to make a book and a documentary film about the phenomenon.
