Diversity scholarship application: EAC Adult Improv Classes, 2024
As part of our commitment to DEIA and ensuring the performing arts are accessible for all, Empire Arts Collective, in collaboration with Windhaus Improv, is excited to announce the launch of a new full ride scholarship program aimed at promoting equity and accessibility in the world of improvisational theater. This opportunity is intended to offer assistance and promote equity within EAC improv classes for folks from communities that have been historically marginalized and are interested in enriching their lives and finding joy through improvisation.

For each adult improv class offered by Empire Arts Collective in 2024, one slot will be held for a recipient of a diversity scholarship (additional slots may be held in the future, based on need and community response) that will cover 100% of the tuition costs associated with each class.

ELIGIBILITY: Eligible applicants include:

  • Applicants who self-identify as being a member of historically disadvantaged and/or marginalized communities (BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, disabled and/or neurodiverse, etc.)

  • Family members of application review panelists, those in a romantic relationship with panelists, and panelists themselves are not eligible for this scholarship.

TO APPLY: Please complete this Google form. The form must be completed in full by no later than 2 weeks prior to the start of class. You can apply for multiple scholarships.
