CAMPING DURING COVID-19 • TROOP 1 REQUIREMENTS:
1) TESTS • All participants & drivers (regardless of vaccination status) must have a negative Covid-19 test after September  7 (within 3 days of departure), and anybody experiencing any cold-like or Covid-19 symptoms will be asked to not participate. I recommend the airport - PCR saliva test and super fast (next day) results. This is the gold standard of testing. Be prepared to share results on Friday, before departure.
15-minute rapid test, please remember these tests are only 86% accurate for asymptomatic virus.

2) MASKS • Masks will be required if interacting with scouts or adults from other units and/or whenever inside a building.

With the extremely high vaccination rate of Troop 1 membership and EVERYBODY involved will have negative tests within 3 days of attendance, Troop 1  scouts will not need to be masked while at camp other than in situations described above.

3) TENTING • Scouts will have tent partners. Scouts with the rank (and experience) of First class and above  may tent alone. Unless they're family members, tent partners must be within 2 years of age. Adults never tent with youth. Scouts may use troop tents or may use a personal tent. Decide at the troop meeting.

WHEN TO CANCEL - Despite vaccination status, any Scout sent home from school/sports due to "close contact" / "direct exposure" should get tested within 3-5 day after initial exposure, following masking, hand washing, and follow the quarantine period that best  by MDH. Obviously, participating in this campout cannot happen within the quarantine period. If vaccinated and the test(s) remain negative and the exposed scout or adult is not showing any Covid-19 symptoms, they may participate. Please communicate - while we scouts participating, we do not want to risk getting anybody sick.
