Support Extension of the NYC Ferry from Astoria to the Upper East Side of Manhattan
As we continue to push for the extension of the ferry from the Astoria landing to the Upper East Side of Manhattan, we would like to get as much feedback from our neighbors who are in favor of this.

This survey lists some of the specific reasons why we think the ferry extension would benefit the community such as access to schools, work, housing, cultural, shopping, etc.

Other positives include:

1. 2nd Avenue subway access.

2. Less cars on streets.

3. Access to the proposed Astoria Waterfront Arts District.

4. Required infrastructure already exists, therefore start-up costs will be minimal.

5. Per the EDC Feasibility Study: Support growing neighborhoods and connect people to jobs and economic opportunities throughout the city. This definitely ties into Astoria/LIC- the most new units per capita in the US; plus new park facilities that received at over a $40M investment.

We would appreciate it if you could fill this out. It will be well worth the effort!!!
