Hello Parents,

You are invited to provide input and assist us in developing the LCPS’s Parent/Family Engagement Plan, School-Parent Compacts, Building Capacity of staff & Title I Money (1% Funds). LCPS is working to strengthen partnerships between schools and families for students’ academic success. In order to continue to do so, we need your feedback on the 2023-2024 Parent Engagement Plan, School-Parent Compacts & Title I Money (1% Funds).

The findings of your feedback will be summarized and used to make improvements to the Parent Engagement Plan, School-Parent Compacts & Title I Money (1% Funds) for 2024-2025.  Please complete the this survey and return it. This plan describes how the LCPS will carry out its obligation to conduct outreach and provide activities, programs, and procedures to all parents of Title I students.

Building Staff Capacity
Capacity-building is defined as the process of developing and strengthening the skills, instincts, abilities, processes and resources that educators need to survive, adapt, and thrive in building relationships with parents and families. An essential ingredient in capacity-building is transformation that is generated and sustained over time from within; transformation of this kind goes beyond performing tasks to changing mindsets and attitudes
