The Clubs of Rotary District 7360 are holding the Four-Way speech contests at the Club, Region, and District levels in the spring of 2023. The Club winners will compete in a Regional Contest, and the Regional winners will compete in the Finals at a District event held on March 29, 2025.

The District contest level winner will receive $2,000

Second place will receive $1,000

Two runners-up will each receive $500

The Four-Way Test:

Is it the TRUTH?

Is it FAIR to all concerned?

Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Rules for the contest

The speech must be the original work of the speaker.
The speech must incorporate all 4 parts of the Four-Way Test.
The speech must be at least 5 minutes and no more than 7 minutes in length.
No props or audience participation is to be used.
For the regional contest, contestants will only be permitted to use 1 each 3x5 note card. Club levels can use as many notes or read directly from a script.

District contest: March 29, 2025 - Bedford, PA (Time, Location TBD)
