Requirements to run:  Live in CD3 (you can also run at the State Convention May31-June 2, 2024 in Duluth) and be eligible to vote in November 2024 election.  

You do not have to be a delegate to the CD or State Convention to run.

All delegates selected to represent Minnesota at the Democratic National Convention must pay their own way, estimated to be $3-5k depending on lodging choices. Many delegates share hotel rooms and fundraise to offset the costs of attending. The Minnesota delegation will have host hotels assigned and that information will be available after elections are held.

If you wish to run to be a delegate to the convention the form located at this link must be submitted to the CD3 chair at least 2 hours prior to the start of the election process at the  CD3 convention on May 4, 2024 estimated to be 10am.  Submit in person at Maple Grove Middle School at 8am on May 4 or by email to cherylpoling@gmail.com.
