Our mission is to promote climate literacy by curating an extensive lexicon of key words written by experts on the frontlines.
Job Responsibilities
Your domain primarily consists of managing the Climate Words social media platforms, namely Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads, X, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, among others. Your role is to create copy and captions based on the published content in our climate lexicon, coordinate the weekly posting schedule (following a one word per week theme), grow our online community, and engage with comments and direct messages. The role communicates with the Steering Circle, Internal Graphic Designers, Videographer and Climate Books Coordinator regularly.
Required Skills
You have a broad knowledge in climate justice. You have excellent communication, writing and time management skills.
Time Commitment
Your weekly time commitment is 3 focused working hours and 1 hour for meetings and communication with your team, for the foreseeable future.

Climate Words is fully volunteer operated, this open position included. All donations contribute toward covering the start-up cost of the website database and registration. We are currently in Stage 3 of our plan.
