First-time Homebuyer Education Registration

The first step to creating successful homeowners is education. Educated homeowners stay in their homes longer, take pride in their properties, and have one-third less foreclosures. 

Completion of a certified homebuyer class is a requirement for many specialized loan products, including down payment assistance programs. To receive a certificate, participants must complete all sections of the course and may have a session with one of our certified homebuyer counselors. During this session the counselor will help apply what you have learned to your own situation, give you regional advice for looking for a home and loan, and set a budget. All services meet HUD requirements and are provided by National Center for Homeownership Education and Counseling Certified educators.
