Dear Parents and Carers
Please find the 2022 Schedule of School Resource Fees attached.
*Note: this is NOT the P&C Voluntary Contribution/Levy.*
In order to assist Balmain Public School teachers’ curriculum delivery of high-quality education for all students K-6, various school-based programs are organised by each stage team. All programs, which may vary from stage to stage, are an integral part of students’ learning and are listed below.
*Please note: the IT Levy, introduced by the P&C in 2016, assists the school with the long-term sustainability of replacement/ongoing maintenance of technology, (interactive whiteboards, laptops and iPads), with the amount determined by the P&C executive. This year’s IT levy has been set at $85/student, based on the school’s 3-year IT Plan, as well as the average lifespan of 3 years for devices.
You will have the option of paying the entire amount, term by term, or other payment amount. Should you require financial assistance during this time, we have set aside a small amount of funds for this purpose. Please contact the office on 9818 1177,
balmainps@gmail.com or
balmain-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au if you would like to discuss this option.
Online payment can be made by Parent Online Payment (POP), available on the school website:
https://balmain-p.schools.nsw.gov.au/(In regard to POP, please note that the only 3 asterisked student details required are: given name, surname and class (not year). Please disregard: student registration number, reference number and date of birth details.)
Alternatively, online payment can also be made via SkoolBag. Cash or cheque payments can be made – in this instance, please have your child place payment in a labelled envelope in the box near the office, or hand to the staff member on morning gate duty.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
Warm regards
Maria Lambos - Principal
