We are currently planning teams for our summer season. The options are Summer6's and Indoor Hockey.
Both are venue based competitions, i.e. you play at the same location / time window each week.

Summer6s - "It is Indoor, but played outdoors".
This is our 6 per side competition played against teams from the central Flames region: TEM, MCC, PHStK: quarter pitch field with boards on the sides and played with fundamentally indoor rules (no hitting, no lifting, no drilling etc). No goalies, mixed teams: U10s, U12s, U14s, U16s. Friday nights on H-1 with BBQ.
There will be 7 rounds (including finals): Fri 13th Oct - Fri 1st Dec. No matches on Fri 3rd Nov, Melb Cup Weekend.
Indoor - Graded competitions at Parkville or Dandenong
For those who have never experienced it, indoor hockey is played on a hard floor, boards on the sides and with a lighter ball which makes it fast and fun. Players need to wear a left hand indoor hockey glove and are recommended to use a special indoor hockey stick. There are 6 players on the pitch including goal-keeper. The competitions offered are U12, U14, U16, U18, mixed shield, mixed pennant, girls only.
There will be 10 rounds (including finals): Sat 7th Oct - Sat 15th Dec. No matches over Melb Cup Weekend.
Note on registrations:
All winter HA/HV registrations are valid until 31 Dec 2023.
Registered players from other clubs are welcome to play in Hawthorn teams for Indoor and Summer.
