Call for Presentation Proposals
AZALAS is calling for presentation proposals from individuals within school districts and other educational organizations for relevant and quality breakout sessions on topics critical to improving achievement of all children in the State of Arizona.

Conference location: Harrah's Ak-Chin, Maricopa, AZ
Conference theme: Transforming Education through Innovation of Heart and Mind
PRESENTATION STRANDS: We are soliciting presentations that address one of the following strands and are focused on educational issues.
• Strategies to accelerate learning / Mitigating learning loss
• Parent outreach / support
• Silver linings of the pandemic e.g. digital competence, benefits of new modalities, etc.
• Best practices for the Fall return-to-school
• Social/Emotional Well-Being of: students/teachers/families/leaders
• Equity Issues: digital inequities, social support systems, nutrition, health
• Political Climate Impact and Advocacy for Families
• Effective Leadership to Support Latino Students
• How leaders can ensure equity and excellence
• Innovative Teaching Methods
• Importance and Best Practices of Cultural History and Tradition
• Effective Instruction in the SEI and Dual Language Classrooms
• Effective Cultural Inclusiveness Practices
Presentations should be designed to actively engage and support participants. Successful respondents may be asked to present presentations on both days.
