CanCOVID Network Registration Form
Thank you for your interest in joining the CanCOVID Network.
The CanCOVID network is by invitation only. Before you can join, we would like to review your profile.
To be considered a recognized expert, you must be affiliated with a university, hospital, clinic, government office, non-profit association or business. All prospective members will be vetted to ensure that they are legitimate members of the pandemic research and response effort. This will include verifying email addresses and professional affiliations. With the exception of patient advocates, gmail addresses and LinkedIn profiles will not be considered as evidence of professional standing. When filling out the form, please use your professional email and website links.
PATIENT ADVOCATES: Patients, caregivers and advocates who sit on a patient engagement panel or advisory board with a recognized health organization will qualify for CanCOVID membership. If you are a patient advocate, you do not require a professional email address to join CanCOVID; however please include a link to a page on a health organization's website or other document that demonstrates your participation on a patient engagement panel or advisory board.
POST DOCTORAL and PhD TRAINEES: Students will qualify for membership if serving as representatives for faculty supervisors who are actively researching, or if they can demonstrate substantial prior research experience on COVID-relevant topics. Masters and Bachelor trainees will not qualify at this time.
MEMBERS OF INDUSTRY: Industry members who are working on the COVID-19 crisis are welcome to join, but may be restricted to certain channels. Marketing or business promotion efforts, including efforts to raise capital, are inconsistent with the spirit of CanCOVID and are strictly forbidden.
We thank you for your cooperation. Verifying membership in this way will enable researchers to focus on critical research without distraction. It will also enable the platform administrators to focus their efforts on supporting core platform activities.
